EA
Ford
February 1988
- July 1991
The fifth-generation
all-new EA Ford Falcon replaced the 1984 XF model in February
1988. Series II was released in October 1989 visually identified
by the coloured B-pillars. The model also celebrated the Falcon's
30th anniversary in October 1990. The NA Fairlane/DA LTD models
were built from June 1988, replacing the 1984 ZL Fairlane/FE
LTD models. The XF utility models carried on with minor changes.
223,612 EA Falcons, 19,798 NA Fairlanes and 3,350 DA LTDs
were built. The EA/NA/DA models were replaced respectively
by the EB/NC/DC in July 1991
