SZ MkII Ford Territory
November 2014 - October 2016

The facelifted SZ MkII Territory replaced the 2011 SZ Territory model in November 2014 with cosmetic changes to update the model. This model marked the end of the Australian Ford Territory model after production since 2004. Production of the Territory discontinued on 7 October 2016. The model was to be replaced by the Ford Edge in 2017.

Final Territory Production

SZ MkII Ford Territory production finished (along with the FG X Ford Falcon) on Friday 7 October 2016, marking the end of Ford production in Australia after 91 years. A total of 4,356,628 Ford cars wre manufactured by Ford in Australia. The penultimate car to roll down the Broadmeadows factory line was a winter white SZ MkII Ford Territory Titanium. This car was kept by Ford Australia along with the final FG X Ford Falcon Ute and the final FG X Ford Falcon XR6 (the final car down the production line).

The final four locally produced saleable Fords (with compliance plates) a kinetic blue Falcon XR6, a lightning strike silver Territory Titanium diesel, a winter white Falcon XR6 Sprint (no.500/500) and a smoke grey XR6 Turbo ute were sold at auction (XR6: $81,500, Territory: $68,500, XR6 Sprint: $122,000, XR6 Turbo ute: $81,000)
