The TP Mitsubishi
Magna was the final facelift of the first generation Magna replacing
the TN model in June 1989.
The model brought cosmetic changes with a revised front grille
and silver lined insert in the tail lights. The model continued
the carburettor and EFI engines and the all regular model levels
carried over. The TP was replaced by the second generation TR
Magna model in March 1991.
The TP station wagon continued
to be sold alongside the new TR Magna sedan until May 1992.

Special edition based on the Executive to celebrate Mitsubishi's
10th year of manufacturing in Australia. This special model
of 1,000 sedans came with gold alloy wheels, the Elante's
tauter suspension set-up, the EFI engine, Elanté bodykit,
gold striping, improved front seats and an TN Elante steering
wheel with black and gold insert. Grand Tourers were offered
in white (500 units), 250 in burgundy, 250 in "Riviera
Blue". Released September 1990.
